Sonoma Valley Newcomers Club Code of Conduct

The Sonoma Valley Newcomers Club is committed to fostering a welcoming, inclusive, and respectful environment for all members. To uphold this commitment, we expect all members to adhere to the following code of conduct:

Respect for Others:

• Treat everyone with dignity and respect, refraining from disruptive and uncooperative behavior.
• Communications and interactions, whether in-person, via email or via social media should be respectful and courteous.
• Avoid discriminatory or harassing behavior.

Self-promotion:

• Members should refrain from self-promotion of a personal business, nature or cause.

Remedies:

• Any member behaving inconsistently with the above may be asked to leave any meeting, gathering or activity. In addition, if required, any action for repeat offenders will be administered with a majority of the board.
